SERIE: OHYESCOOLGREAT

In the new 'series' i will post more work from one designer. This time: Rotterdam based designstudio 'Ohyescoolgreat'

In 'Onbeschoft Fatsoen' (rude decency), people are portrayed and interviewed in the street. They were asked about their irritations and their rude and decent habits in public spaces. In this book irritations of one person reacts on the rude habit of the person on the next page.
These reactions are readable at the same time by the changing tabs, under and above the pages. On the backside of every page the person's decency is the other side of the person and the message of this project.
The reader should try not to get irritated too quickly. (check the website for more images of this project

ICHIONE POSTER
This poster is designed for IChiOne/Subversive Renaissance. Which is a drum 'n bass party held at Café Pakhuis Wilhelmina in Amsterdam, NL. The poster shows a three dimensional field made out of lines. On the bottom of the A1 poster, there are 8 flyers which can be ripped off. The poster is silk-screened by Wyber, Amsterdam (www.wyber.nl) in zilver on dark blue colored paper

CASCOLAND
Cascoland is a public space project of Dutch artists in South Africa. Designarbeid published an essay of his experiences designing the identity on this project. The identity was printed on trash. The book is made of transparent envelopes, printed on a home printer. The images were printed separately on scrap paper, and then put into the envelopes.

HOLLAND FESTIVAL IDENTITY
This is a identity project for the Holland Festival in the Netherlands. The Holland Festival gives viewers a caleidoscopic image of everything that happens in the world of dance, theatre, classical music, ballet etc. The posters tend to draw you into the image to read it. The caleidoscopic theme continues in the complete identity.

DEAF FESTIVAL
Deaf is an interactive exhibition with art objects from over the world. The pop-up gives a three dimensional experience of the objects. Because the exhibition is too dark, the book also functions as map withsigns with the title of the art work and the name of the artist
